Pryce is becoming more mobile and is getting into everything these days. We've been 'babyproofing' the house, and with good reason. Pryce's favorite new thing is to open cabinets and turn faucets. Luke and I are constantly on the run chasing Pryce...it's bound to have its benefits (more exercise, right?). In the last week and a half, Pryce has gone from amoxicillin (both ears infected) to augmentin (sp?) and tylenol to get over a virus. Still, he can manage to muster up enough energy to keep Luke and I worn out! He loves to bang the coffee table, has smashed his fingers in the cabinets already, and is moving enough to sustain his weight limit for the activity jumper. He's doing well in daycare and is exploring more and more every day. It's a whirlwind...and we're having a blast! We've just ordered invitations for Pryce's 1st birthday party. Hard to believe he's almost 11 months old!

Pryce - 10 Months
It's hard to believe Pryce is already 10 months old! Time is getting away from us faster than I can keep up! Pryce has had a pretty big month...he's crawling everywhere now, eating a variety of table food, pulling up to stand all the time, and is (as of today) the newest member of the Catepillar class at Tree of Knowledge Learning Center (daycare)! Grams (my mom) has been such a huge help to us over these past 7 months, taking care of Pryce during the day (not to mention helping with laundry, dishes, etc). It's the little things (like 7 months of having our bed made when I get home) that have made me realize just how great it has been to have her in our home with Pryce. We're so fortunate to have had her, but it's always been part of 'the agreement' that Pryce be in daycare by the time he is a year old....we don't want the 'biter' or the little kid that won't share. I know he'll be so great with all the other little ones around him. We started exploring the daycare thing a little over a month ago to see about getting Pryce started around the beginning of the Spring, and TOK (Tree of Knowledge) only had 1 spot available in Pryce's class. So, with no guarantees if we waited, we went ahead and took the spot, and have just been paying for it until now. It was a great day! I called to check in on Pryce a couple of times. He had a great mornng did well with his biscuit for breakfast, graham crackers for snack, and lunch. He didn't do so well at nap time, but finally went down for about an hour on his cot. There are 9 other children in his class, and Pryce is the next to youngest in the room. He seemed to have a great day! It didn't even phase him that his mommy & daddy had left. Our cup runneth over, and we're so excited about this new adventure for Pryce!
